How it all began

Inspired by the Bavarian Alps

The idea of Klimovka Resort was born back in 1989. After an unforgettable trip to the Bavarian Alps, we were struck by how harmoniously people can live in unity with nature. Neat wooden cabins, crystal-clear rivers, care for every tree and a warm domestic atmosphere moved us deeply.

Back in our hometown of Ridder, we realized one simple thing: our Altai mountains are every bit as beautiful as the Alps!

We decided to build our own “perfect world” right here, at the foot of the Ivanovsky Belok ridge, on the bank of the mountain river Razlivanka.

The road to the dream

Building from scratch in the wild taiga

The road to the dream wasn’t easy. At first there was absolutely nothing here: no roads, no bridges, no electricity. Wild, untouched taiga that could only be reached with great difficulty.

Step by step, with our own hands and the work of our family, we paved the way. We built authentic hand-hewn log cabins, started the Gemma farm to feed our guests with natural products, and developed the petting zoo.

Today Klimovka is a modern, comfortable resort that has kept the soul of an Altai village. A place where you are always welcomed as our most valued guests.

Spirituality

An Orthodox church on the grounds

Klimovka was envisioned not just as a place to stay, but as a place of strength and peace. That is why our family takes special pride in building a real Orthodox church on the resort grounds.

Its wooden architecture fits the natural landscape perfectly. Here every guest can spend time in silence, find peace, and touch the eternal, far from city bustle and information noise.

The church doors are always open to our guests.
